Spotify elege as maiores 100 músicas pop da “era dos streamings”; confira

Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan e Taylor Swift dominam o pódio




O Spotify liberou nesta terça-feira (24/2) um ranking com as 100 maiores músicas pop da “era dos streamings”, com canções lançadas nos últimos 10 anos. Olivia Rodrigo foi o destaque da lista, ocupando o 1° lugar com “Drivers License”. Chappell Roan e Taylor Swift completam o pódio.

Segundo a plataforma, a seleção faz parte do programa Spotify Classics, iniciativa voltada a celebrar músicas de catálogo que seguem influenciando a cultura pop mesmo anos após o lançamento. Para o serviço, a “era dos streamings” é definida como o período entre 2015 e os dias atuais.

A curadoria foi feita por um time global de editores do Spotify, que avaliou milhares de faixas a partir de critérios qualitativos como impacto cultural, musicalidade, narrativa artística e relevância ao longo do tempo. O volume de streams, segundo a empresa, não foi um fator determinante para a escolha das músicas.

“O streaming permitiu que o pop se consolidasse como um espaço de expressão artística, e não apenas de sucesso comercial”, afirma o Spotify em comunicado. A empresa também destaca que o gênero passou a absorver influências diversas, mantendo elementos clássicos como grandes refrões e forte apelo emocional.

Além das artistas que lideram o ranking, nomes como Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Demi Lovato e Harry Styles também aparecem na lista, que busca destacar canções marcantes independentemente de seu desempenho imediato nas paradas.
